Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Associate Position Open!
FastDoc Urgent Care is independently owned by 4 Emergency Medicine providers that have lived and work in the North Texas area for over 2 decades. We are not your typical urgent care! No 9am-5pm shifts here, our hours of operation are 8am-8pm and we are open 7 days a week. We are looking for 2 practitioners FT & PT with above average skills and ER experience, new grads are welcome to apply! This position requires a minimum of 5 shifts per month with the availability to work weekends as well. Starting rate for new grads negotiable based on experience. Role Description
This is a full-time and a part-time on-site role for an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Associate at FastDoc Urgent Care, located in Allen, TX. The role includes providing patient-centered care by assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of acute and episodic conditions. The role will also involve collaborating with healthcare professionals, performing physical examinations, prescribing medications, and educating patients on health management and preventive care.
Qualification
Exceptional clinical skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
Expertise in acute and urgent care procedures, such as suturing, wound care, and minor office-based surgeries
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, their families, and the medical team
Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN/NP) or Physician Associate (PA) in Texas
Advanced certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) are preferred
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
