Kidz Therapy Zone’s goal is to provide caring, innovative, and fun pediatric therapy. Every child is unique, but all kids want to have fun. At Kidz Therapy Zone we believe in engaging each child in their interests in order to enhance their progress toward their goals.
Our occupational therapy (OT) practice utilizes activities to assist children’s development of fine motor skills, gross motor skills, strength, body awareness, body scheme, handwriting, visual perceptual skills, sensory processing, motor planning, praxis, attention, and activities of daily living (feeding, toileting, dressing, grooming, mobility).
Our physical therapy (PT) practice addresses functional mobility as it relates to the development of gross motor skills. This can include range of motion, strength, balance, coordination, and ambulation/gait.
Our speech therapy (ST) practice utilizes activities to assist children’s communication development. ST works to improve expressive and receptive language, stuttering, fluency, speech delays, cognitive skills, social skills, oral motor skills, speech apraxia, and use of augmentative communication devices.
