Holidays that involve family gatherings can be a most difficult time of year for those of us suffering a loss. Decorations have already filled the shelves of stores even before Halloween.

Now we’re in November and the bittersweet memories of those special holidays loom ever closer on the calendar.

But we needn’t drown in dread and despair. We need only remind ourselves that our loved ones are still here with us in love and in spirit.
