(Within the context of when a client compares rates)
I myself wouldn’t mind going to Chinese Massages if I’m in desperate need for pain relief. But no, we’re not the same.

I would also agree that the Asian Massages put so much effort and I praise them for that in comparison to some/most licensed massage therapists (working in Chain), where they give mediocre to zero effort.

But there are pros and cons. You do get what you pay for. I would also say the same for Private Practitioners (like me) versus Chain Massage Therapists. We’re also not the same.

❌ If you shaved your legs or not (Ladies, we all got hair)! Our Gentlemen never apologize! Why should you? lol
❌ If you have to use the bathroom mid-session. You are allowed to go! Don’t hold it!
❌ If you looked like you just rolled out of bed or dressed like royalty. (You’re here to relax either way!)
❌ If you washed your hair or did not.
❌ If you tell me my pressure is too much! (You won’t hurt my feelings. Pls. Tell me if you’re uncomfortable)

❌ (This is a big one for me Lol) I DON’T CARE If you tried other Massage Therapists recently! I’m confident with my techniques, and I would love for you to explore other massage professionals to see what works for you! In the end, I want you to get better whether it’s through me or someone else! ( I do hope you went to another small business though 😉).
