Members of our new prayer messaging service learned this week about a woman who went to Planned Parenthood for an ultrasound appointment after a positive pregnancy test, but they turned her away and referred her to us. Our sonographer discovered she was well into her third trimester — the furthest along we’ve ever seen a patient in her first visit. She had been considering abortion, but after seeing her baby on our sonogram, she chose life!

A patient who came in for a pregnancy test and early ultrasound shared this feedback from her visit. At Bright Hope, creating a welcoming space is central to how we serve our patients. As this mom participates in parenting classes for her 15-month-old son, she earns Baby Bucks to spend at our Baby Boutique. After her first appointment with her advocate, she used them to buy clothes, diapers, and wipes for her little one.
