That’s the nickname one of our patients gave her baby — because at her first appointment, the baby was about the size of an apple seed.

She initially came to Bright Hope looking for the abortion pill. Our medical team provided a free ultrasound to check for viability.

When she saw her baby on the screen for the first time, tears filled her eyes.

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do đź’›

Recently, a young mom joined us for an Empowered Parenting class discussion with her young baby in her arms. She shared that her labor and delivery went smoothly, and while sleep is hard to come by these days, she loves being a mom. Her words stayed with us: Her baby is “the best gift ever.”

Our client advocate loves spending time with her, supporting her as she grows in confidence as a mother. Watching moms discover their strength and joy — especially in these early weeks — is such a gift to our team.
