At the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office & Forensic Center, our mission is to serve the public with compassion, professionalism, and respect—especially during some of life’s most difficult moments. To ensure clear communication, accountability, and continuity of care, our office follows a clearly defined chain of command.

This flow chart shows how our team is organized and how responsibilities are structured to support timely decisions, coordinated responses, and consistent service. A clear chain of command allows us to function efficiently as a 24/7 essential service while remaining focused on the needs of families and the community we serve.

Your generosity is helping families enjoy a food-filled holiday!

Our office Angel Tree of Giving has officially been cleared off!

Thanks to the generous support of the LCCO&FC team, and a wonderful collaboration with the Allentown Health Bureau and Lehigh Valley For All – Holiday Helpers, we were able to provide and deliver gifts for four Allentown families who needed a little extra elf help this Christmas season.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this possible and for helping spread holiday cheer in our community!

Forensic Friday!
Emerging Health Professional students from Lehigh Career & Technical Institute spent the morning with Investigator M. Wildey for a presentation and guided tour of the LCCO&FC. It was a great opportunity for the students to explore the field and an excellent way to wrap up a busy week!
