Far From Fatherless Far From Fatherless exists to empower boys and young men ages 9–17 by providing consistent mentorship, positive male role models, and life-skills development.

Our mission is to build confident, disciplined, and purpose-driven young men.

Last Thursday, February 26th, we had the opportunity to take the boys from the program to see the Harlem Globetrotters at the PPL Center in Allentown.

Moments like this remind us that mentoring goes beyond conversations—we believe in exposing our youth to positive experiences and showing them that there are great opportunities and activities right within their own community.

It’s about guidance, exposure, and building memories that inspire them to dream bigger.

The program “Far From Fatherless” had the privilege of accompanying several young boys to witness their inaugural NBA basketball game at Xfinity Mobile Arena. The match featured the Brooklyn Nets against the Philadelphia 76ers. Naturally, the Brooklyn Nets emerged victorious. Thank you for your patience—Far From Fatherless is officially back! We’re excited to close out the year with a meet-up and begin the new year on the right path.

I understand that it has been nearly two years since our last gathering, so attendance may be smaller than before. I truly appreciate every family and child who is able to join us.

We took the youth to the last Sunday, they enjoy seeing and being able to sit in the cars. They learned about the different engines from v4-v12. They also told us what their favorite cars were.
We continue to show our youth of Allentown that there is so many different opportunities in the lehigh valley to enjoy and learn about different things.
