Our Founder and CEO is Jill Duffey Kearney. So many titles: Professional Stager, Move Manager, and Daughter. Clarification- she’s the daughter you wish you had when the time comes to make the move from family estate to your new life. For over 12 years, Jill has been a professional real estate stager and re-designer. Her passion is redesigning homes with creative floor plans to serve the homeowner in the next phase of life. After being asked to help a widow from church several years ago, Jill concentrated her focus exclusively to the senior market, and she’s never looked back. As a Member of the National Association of Senior & Specialty Move Managers (NASMM) Jill believes her work is as much a ministry as it is a business, with a bonus: joy and satisfaction on the customers’ face. Jill’s company, Specialty Moves by Design, has helped over 1500 people transition into new homes and more joyful lifestyles with ease. Check out some photos from our move at Kirkland Village earlier this week, with our fabulous partners at Isaac's Moving & Storage Philadelphia ! Move Manager Ann and her team worked hard to get this lovely couple unpacked and organied just the way they wanted their gorgeous new apartment to be. The crew at Isaac's did the heavy lifting, and made sure each piece of furniture was exactly where the floor plan called for it. Thank you to everyone who made this big move not only possible, but joyful!

What a friendly bunch of hard workers we have! Here's a tiny peek into a busy move day - our team was eagerly unpacking this client's new home, a retired dentist, to get his apartment all organized and set up the way he likes it. Did you know, all but the largest moves we do are unpacked by dinner time on Move Day? It's true! That's all thanks to excellent planning by our Move Managers, strong partnerships with excellent Movers (thank you, Valley Wide Movers !) and a team of friendly and hard working unpackers.

Move Manager Kim and her crew were all smiles at the end of a long, cold and dreary winter day last week, having helped Mr. and Mrs. G (and their helpful kids!) move into a beautiful cottage at Fellowship Community. We have lots of exciting things happening around Specialty Moves by Design! Let us introduce FOUR amazing new team members:

Colleen Bernini joins us as our new Administrative Assistant. Her friendly voice will be on the other end if you call into our office!

Then, we have Kaitlyn DeLany, Robert Rich, and Heather Tompkins all training to become Move Managers. Each has a very different background (from education and childcare, to luxury retail, to operations) and brings a wonderful set of skills to the role.
