Vitamin C salad for brunch! Did you know strawberries have more vitamin C than oranges? Here my son Jack chopped up this simple salad to go with our Sunday brunch (my favorite meal! 😋)
Inside: bananas, also contain Vit C along with manganese, (which is good for your skin and bones!) and of course potassium. Bananas help to aid digestion, reduce menstrual pain, fight depression and obesity.
Strawberries: also high in all of the above Vitamins and minerals, but add folate to the list. Folate is a B vitamin which is a key vitamin (B9) for pregnant women and for older adults benefits in increasing cognitive function!
Good ole Apples: of course the usual fiber benefit and is a good PREbiotic (helps feed PRObitocs which in turn help with your immune system!) Did you know apples also contain compounds that can help fight asthma?
Last but not least: Clementines!
Boost your immune system, helps digestion and prevent constipation, good for your bones and skin!
