🌟Occupational (hand) therapy Patient of the Month🌟
Meet Theresa Salasky, our May Patient of the Month!!

Theresa came to OAA Hand Therapy after having wrist surgery with one of our OAA surgeons, Dr. Talsania!🩺🩻

Theresa’s biggest challenge after surgery was immobility problems, she was having issues completing her daily activities, and needed some hand therapy to be back to new!✋✨

During her recovery, the best exercises she did included ones she could do at therapy as well as at home. She mentioned that having exercises that worked in both places made for an easy transition and healing process! ❤️‍🩹✋

The most enjoyable part of coming to therapy for Theresa was working with our Occupational Therapists, John and Jenna! She said she really enjoyed how knowledgeable they were and how they were able to teach her as well as heal her! ✋

After hand rehab, Theresa is looking forward to being able to do her every day activities without pain, and we are so happy to have helped her healing journey!

🌟 Physical therapy Patient of the Month 🌟
Meet Ty Nansteel, our March Patient of the Month!

Ty came to OAA Physical Therapy after having knee surgery with one of our Orthopedic Surgeons. 🦵🩺

One of Ty’s biggest challenges after having knee surgery was walking. Since he is an athlete, he was eager to heal and get back to doing what he loves! 🏃🌟

Ty’s favorite part of coming to therapy was working with John! Ty said working on lifting weights and getting his leg back to full strength with John’s help is what made recovery fun. 🏋️💪 Due to his time at OAA PT, Ty is back to full strength and really looking forward to playing football! 🏈

After PT, Ty is looking forward to being able to lift and condition for football season next fall! We at OAA Physical Therapy & Hand Rehab cannot wait to see him succeed! 😀⭐
