April starts the beginning of Limb Loss Awareness Month!
Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness Month (LLLDAM) is celebrated annually in April to honor the estimated 5.6 million Americans living with limb loss or limb difference, foster community resilience, and promote equitable care. Led by the Amputee Coalition, the campaign raises awareness, reduces stigma, and highlights the need for access to quality care and prosthetics.
