Allison Little Lambs Child Care Center was honored to recently welcome Justin Jensen, Regional Director for Senator Joni Ernst, for a visit focused on early childhood education and the importance of accessible, high-quality child care in our community.
We are especially proud to share that Allison Little Lambs was selected by our regionβs Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) program as the Butler County center for legislators to visit and tour as part of their Region 2 events. This region includes Allamakee, Black Hawk, Bremer, Buchanan, Butler, Cerro Gordo, Chickasaw, Clayton, Delaware, Dubuque, Fayette, Floyd, Franklin, Grundy, Hancock, Howard, Mitchell, Winneshiek, and Worth counties.
During the visit, Justin toured our facility, met with staff, and spent time observing classrooms in action. It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase our programs and highlight the critical role child care providers play in supporting working families in the Allison area.
Our Director, Ashley Ludemann, along with CCR&R Consultant Katie Cruise, shared insight into daily operations and discussed the challenges facing child care providers, including the need for continued resources, workforce support, and affordable care options for families.
βWe were grateful for the opportunity to welcome Justin Jensen to our center,β said Director Ashley Ludemann. βItβs important for our leaders and their representatives to see firsthand the impact child care has on children, families, and our community.β
This visit highlights the vital role child care plays in supporting local economic growth and family stability. We remain committed to providing trusted child care to ALL in a Christian way, while continuing to advocate for the needs of families and early childhood professionals.
