A group of us got out to the Rockers game on Sunday. It was overcast (might have felt a few raindrops), but we enjoyed our “moment in the sun” on the field just the same.

If you’re planning to attend the visitation or funeral, please consider wearing your league jersey/shirt. It will help Mike’s friends and family identify you as someone who was impacted by his generous service with our league. Thanks!
Details for his visitation and funeral are in the obituary, but they are this Friday afternoon (4-7:00 and Saturday morning). Please read below for details.

View Deacon Michael Dabeck's obituary, find service dates, and sign the guestbook.

For players (and coaches) who would like to attend the Sunday, June 15th Rockers game for free, please rsvp at newallstars@gbcc.me. Your ticket will be available at “will call” at the Rockers stadium when you arrive for the game. If you want to get out on the field to hit a few balls, please arrive when the gates open at 12:05. (We currently have 11 players and 4 coaches attending, but we can add more on before the end of May). Please note that players who need assistance or have a guardian must attend with a guardian or caregiver. Players and their families/friends/caregiver will sit together in our reserved section.
Anyone else who would like to attend the game with our group (family and friends/caregivers) must purchase their tickets through the QR code on the flyer posted here (also posted previously, they are the same and both will work). These $15 tickets include a seat in our reserved section (you can sit with your player—you will be asked to pick seats for the tickets you buy, but there will be flexibility to move around within our section to make sure you are seated by your player), a Rockers hat, plus a $7 donation to the NEW All-Star League will be made by the Rockers. If you have questions or want to rsvp to join us, please email AmyJo at newallstars@gbcc.me before the end of May.
