We were delighted to welcome back the students from the sociology class at Alma College for another great visit! During their time here, the students spent the afternoon connecting with our residents by playing games, doing nails, and conducting interviews to learn more about their lives and experiences. Moments like these create meaningful connections and brighten everyone’s day.

A sincere thank you to the professor and the entire class for taking the time to visit and for bringing so much positivity to our community!

We were pleased to welcome students from a sociology class at Alma College for a recent tour of the Michigan Masonic Home! It’s always a joy to share our community with students and give them a closer look at life here at the Home. The class plans to return soon to spend more time with our residents, including conducting interviews and playing games together. We’re looking forward to another great visit and the meaningful connections that come with it!

Laissez les bons temps rouler! 💜💛💚 We celebrated Mardi Gras at Masonic Pathways today with festive masks, lively music, and plenty of cake to share. It was a fun afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, and great company.

Love is in the air! Our recent Annual Resident Expo brought residents and staff together for a fun-filled day of games, sweet treats, giveaways, and great conversation. Each department hosted a table, giving residents the chance to connect with our amazing team while enjoying a little extra candy and fun along the way. It’s an event our residents look forward to every year, and it’s always full of smiles.

Our Annual Employee Expo was a wonderful day of fun! Staff enjoyed a delicious mashed potato bar, giveaways, goodies, and time together. We were also grateful for amazing vendors like AdvisaCare Home Care, Saravilla Bed & Breakfast of Alma, Willow Tree Bakery , Relaxations, Nanny’s Kitchen, and more, who helped make the day extra special! We are so thankful for our hardworking team and all they do for our residents and community each day. 💞

We loved welcoming nursing students from Saginaw Valley State University to the Home last week! They shared an engaging presentation with our Men’s Club on the importance of handwashing, complete with a fun demonstration, and also assisted with manicures for our lady residents. Thank you, SVSU students, for your time and kindness! 🩺💙

What a milestone worth celebrating! Yesterday, we had the joy of celebrating Yvonne A. on her 100th birthday surrounded by love. Family traveled from across the country, and residents and staff from the Home came together to honor Yvonne and make her extra special day one to remember. Happy 100th Birthday, Yvonne! 🎉🎂

Today, we welcomed medical students from Central Michigan University to our Health Care Center for a special visit with our residents. The students spent time chatting and conducting interviews, learning about favorite recipes and memorable ingredients from years past. It was a wonderful opportunity to share stories, spark meaningful conversations, and connect across generations!
