Today, GIHN staff are wearing blue to show our support for Child Abuse Prevention Awareness 💙

Wearing blue is a simple but powerful way to stand together and raise awareness about the importance of protecting children and strengthening families. Every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and valued—and together, we can help make that a reality.

Prevention starts with all of us. By staying connected, supporting one another, and speaking up, we can help create a community where children can thrive.

If you or someone you know needs support, remember—help is always available. 💙

We’re proud to share that on Tuesday, GIHN’s very own Sarah Bowman, Clinical Director, served as a featured speaker at the annual Women’s Resource Center of Mid-Michigan membership luncheon.

Sarah delivered an inspiring message centered on compassion, connection, and the impact each of us can make. She encouraged attendees to pause and reflect on the power of community—woman to woman, neighbor to neighbor, business to business—and how small, intentional actions can create meaningful change while restoring dignity and opportunity for women.

In addition to Sarah’s presentation, GIHN was honored to present a $152 donation to the Women’s Resource Center of Mid-Michigan, collected through our recent Casual for a Cause initiative.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support such important work and to be part of a community that lifts one another up. 💙
