Well said! ❤
Have you ever been discouraged after a doctor's appointment?
Before I found homeopathy, I desperately sought the help of many different kinds of doctors. Maybe there was a treatment, a therapy, or a benign drug that I would feel comfortable enough taking. I had literally visited dozens. Then one day after a disturbing visit to a rheumatologist (where I saw so many extremely sick people loaded in his waiting room and literally lining his halls–drooling and trembling in wheelchairs), I left feeling defeated and broken.
I remember that I rushed–not walked–out of the office. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Driving home, I prayed aloud. I couldn’t understand why it was that I felt so disturbed at the office. "Of course, there were going to be sick people in his office…he was a doctor. What was so disturbing about that?" Then the Holy Spirit hit me with a thought. It said:
“Because those people are the fruits of his labor. And you don’t want to become as sick as they are.”
I backed up. If I were looking for a church, I would look for a happy, healthy, thriving congregation. Not one that was backbiting, gossiping and miserable. Of course, nobody is perfect, but I’d look for the positive fruits of the pastor’s labor.
Then the Holy Spirit whispered to me another thought: "To every single one of the doctors you’ve visited, the word cure is almost like a bad word to them." I constantly heard from the doctors, “We don’t have a cure for that. We can’t fix that.” Instead, their goal for me was “better quality of life,” and helping me feel as “comfortable as possible” while my body fell apart. Again, I was prompted to compare this type of logic to religion. Would I go to a church where the pastor said to me, “We don't specialize in salvation, just a comfortable road to hell”?
Nope. Not me. Homeopathy has some really amazing, curative, and lifting theories, structures, and principles. All of which leads you to a place of healing and restoration. If you’re struggling with chronic illness, maybe you’re going to the wrong church--err practitioner. And for chronic illness, I strongly recommend that you work with a highly qualified homeopath.
