Students brainstorming for their business which will become a community event.
Throughout the next 8 months, they will discuss ideas, develop a business plan, create capital, build a marketing campaign and on August 15th they will host their event.

I love seeing them work as a team.

This is one of my favorite days in the classroom.
They day students learn their first full body massage. The students learn to start creating their flow and from here we start introducing and developing more skills.

Today was so fun at AIM. The students had to create a joint/articulation and then presentation their creation and describe it. They were so creative and did a great job.
Thank you Sandy Fritz for the idea. What a great learning experience for the whole class.

The classroom is coming alive

We’re getting everything ready for our next group of students—class begins September 19th

There’s something special about stepping into a space filled with learning, excitement, and the promise of a brand-new career. From anatomy charts to practice skeletons, every detail is here to help students grow, learn and discover their future in massage therapy.

We can’t wait to welcome this new class—it’s going to be a year of learning, fun, and transformation!

AIM Students AIM HIGHER

We are so proud of our Alpena Institute of Massage students! Their recent community event raised $1,550 for Great Lakes Great Responsibility.

Through this project, students learned how to:
✔️ Create and carry out a business plan
✔️ Work together as a team
✔️ Promote and market both their “business” and themselves
✔️ Communicate effectively on group projects
✔️ Give back to the communities they live and work in

This is what AIM is all about—building skilled professionals who know the value of teamwork, leadership, and community. 💪✨

Graduation morning at AIM always starts with one of our favorite traditions: the Student & Instructor Breakfast.
It’s laid back, celebratory, and filled with laughter. Sharing a meal together reminds us that we’re more than just a school—we’re a community. 💙💛🧡

Did you have a garage sale this weekend? If you're wondering what to do with unsold kitchen items, we would be so grateful for your donations.
Our agency supports survivors of domestic and sexual violence as they rebuild their lives. Many are starting over with little to nothing — and basic kitchen essentials like pots, pans, dishes, and utensils can make a world of difference.

🛒 Think: cookware, baking sheets, plates, mugs, can openers, mixing bowls, storage containers

🌧️ Bigfoot, Caps, and a Downpour—Oh My! 🎓☔

Only in Alpena could the AIM Class of 2025 host their student-run community event in the pouring rain 🌧️—with Bigfoot cheering them on and the next day walk for graduation in the most beautiful sunshine

Through laughter, soaked sneakers, and determination, these graduates proved that when life brings rainstorms, you can still power through with grit, teamwork, and a smile.

From giving back to the community to stepping into brand-new futures, this class showed us what it truly means to AIM higher
