In recent times, we’ve seen an alarming shift: colorectal cancer has become the leading cause of cancer-related deaths among those under 50. This unfortunate reality was highlighted by the recent passing of actor James Van Der Beek, who bravely fought stage 3 colorectal cancer at just 48. His story serves as a poignant reminder that age is not a shield against this serious illness.

To shed light on this critical topic, MyMichigan Health is hosting the annual Elsa U. Pardee Foundation Memorial Cancer Lunch and Learn lecture.
