MyMichigan Health, a non-profit health system headquartered in Midland, Michigan, is a leader in providing award-winning, high-quality care to the 26-county region it serves. It is a non-profit, tax-exempt health system affiliated with the University of Michigan Health. As a non-profit, all excess revenues go back into providing care, upgrading services, fairly compensating employees and creating a supportive work environment. MyMichigan Health EMS joined forces with the Chippewa County Sheriff's Office to provide an immersive Wilderness First Aid Trauma training for our dedicated ORV, Snowmobile, and Marine deputies. This eight-hour course was all about equipping these brave individuals with the skills to tackle the most common injuries they may face while serving on our beautiful trails and waters.

We also donated essential medical equipment to bolster this specialized team’s response capabilities. Together, we are enhancing safety not just for our deputies, but for everyone who enjoys the great outdoors in Chippewa County.
