🌟 Saturday Supertech Spotlight: Shamim! 🌟

Shamim has been with Atlanta Eye Group since the very beginning, joining in 2016 as one of our first employees. She began her journey as a technician at our Cumberland clinic, quickly rising to Clinical Manager, and now serves as an essential part of our Auditing and Billing team.

She’s been with us through every hurdle, triumph, and expansion, bringing unwavering dedication and a depth of knowledge that continues to elevate our entire organization. Her loyalty and passion for patient care have shaped AEG in countless meaningful ways.

We are so grateful to have Shamim on our team. Thank you for everything you’ve poured into AEG over the years! 💛 👏

🌟 Saturday Supertech Spotlight: Saja! 🌟

Saja joined Atlanta Eye Group just six months ago, and in such a short time she has grown tremendously! While balancing her studies in computer science, she continues to show impressive development and initiative in her role.

As we enter our busiest time of year, Saja has stepped up in meaningful ways, including assisting with the training of new team members. Her dedication, dependability, and genuinely kind personality make her a standout on the team.

We’ve been consistently impressed by her work ethic, and we’re so proud of the skills she continues to master. We can’t wait to see all she accomplishes at AEG! 💙✨

📚 Professional Development Series

Our latest PDS was filled with new information and great discussion! Our employees were introduced to the new Stellest lenses, specialized glasses lenses designed to help slow the progression of myopia, which are now available at all of our locations! 👓

A big thank you to our sponsor, Johnson & Johnson, and to Jeffrey Cofie for sharing the latest updates on ACUVUE® OASYS MAX contact lens technology. 💡

We also want to recognize our incredible doctors — Dr. Tyler Bellack, Dr. Lianne Chuck, Dr. Seanna Corbett, Dr. Cynthia Noorani, and Dr. Ashka Patel — for leading an insightful discussion on the importance of quality retinal images when evaluating a patient’s eye health. 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

Another great session of learning, collaboration, and continuing to raise the bar in patient care! 👁️✨

Did you know that many forms of blindness and visual impairment are treatable or preventable?
If detected in an early stage, you can prevent diseases such as strabismus, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy from destroying your vision.
Other conditions such as trachoma can be treated with antibiotics, and a cataract in your eye can be removed with a simple surgical procedure.

Visit your optometrist today for a comprehensive exam!
