Our Resident of the Month of April is Shay; Shay was born in Brooklyn NY and moved to Connecticut with her family where she attended Stamford High and went to Business School, Shay worked as a Paralegal for many Years, she has four beautiful children, two boys and two girls and 6 grandchildren, four boys and two girls. Shay is such a treasure to our community, she makes everyone she meets happy.

Our Associate of the Month of April is Laquintin; Laquintin is part of our dietary team. Laquintin is from Atlanta, GA; he has four brothers and 1 sister. He is a proud father of two teenage sons and has a pet hamster named Ginger. He is passionate about exploring and using various types of technology. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, playing video games and cooking. We are so happy to him here at Legacy Ridge at Alpharetta our residents adore him and we all appreciate all that he does here.

Ruth was born Nov 6, 1931, in Leipzig Germany. My parents escaped western Germany and moved to Bremen Germany. My parents were married April 1953. They immigrated to Canada in 1958. Moved from a city in Germany to the bush country of Canada. My dad worked in a gold mine. My brother, Frank was born in 1961. Mom learned English using comic books. In 1963 we moved to Richmond Virginia. She was a door-to-door Avon lady for many years. Then worked in a hospital gift shop. She moved to Atlanta in 2001 after my dad passed in December 2000. She has 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.❤️💙

y name is Makhia Martins, and I am 19 years old, born on Halloween in North Philadelphia. I am grateful to be recognized as Employee of the Month. Working with my residents brings me joy, and I take pride in delivering quality care and building strong bonds with each of them. As I pursue my education in nursing, my ultimate goal is to become a plastic surgeon and make a difference in people’s lives. In my free time, you can find me admiring sports cars, especially Challengers, or shopping and thrifting for unique finds. I also enjoy collecting vinyl records and have a soft spot for anything Hello Kitty, all while embracing the nostalgia of early 2000s fashion. A heartfelt thank you for this recognition❤️
