With the recent ice storm, something truly special is happening at The Phoenix at Milton.

While the roads iced over and the world slowed down, our team showed up. Staff members chose to stay overnight so that compassion, care, and connection never skipped a beat. Late-night bingo tournaments, Kings in the Corner card games, Sunday church service in our media room, and early-morning surprise manicures for our ladies.

Our residents are an absolute blast. Our Executive Director went above and beyond in preparing the team for the weekend, ensuring everyone felt supported, safe, and ready to serve.

And the cherry on top... We just received our 11th five-star review in just 30 days!!!

This community is something truly special. We are incredibly honored to work alongside a team that lives out compassion, teamwork, and heart, especially whenit matters most.

Today we gathered for our Best of the Nest Ceremony, a special moment to celebrate the incredible people who make our community so extraordinary.

Think of it as our own version of PSL’s Most Interesting People. The Phoenix voted to recognize individuals with truly remarkable stories, war heroes, inventors, award winners, mountain climbers, and true walking (and sometimes rolling 😉) relics who fill our hallways with inspiration every day.

We are surrounded by distinguished individuals with lived experiences that deserve to be seen, heard, and celebrated. Today was all about shining a spotlight on them.
