As a former professional athlete, Gillian Carmody has a deep appreciation and understanding of sports performance. In addition, she is a dedicated teacher and practitioner of mind-body practices such as Qigong and T/ai Chi. She completed a ten-year training and mentorship program with world-renown Qigong Master, Kenneth Cohen. Gillian is well-versed in Qiogong for sport and Qigong for Health, and creates unique programs to suit the needs of her clients.

Qi is the essential or vital energy of the body and ‘gong’ means skill or work.
Lifestyle, genetics, environment and mental attitude all contribute to the conservation or depletion of qi.
Through qigong practice you will learn:
the basis of good posture and structural alignment in your body;
how to breath in a way that supports good health;
simple movements to help joints, muscles and tendons;
how to have much better focus and awareness in everyday situations.

🔹 The room is heated for the client's comfort before the session begins. The Practitioner will first exfoliate the entire body with a premium non scented salt scrub and then rinse you off in the same room. If you would like to add an essential oil to your salt scrub, it is complimentary. Here is a list of Essential Oils to choose from:
Balance, Lavender, Lemon, Lemongrass, Peppermint, Wild Orange (Please note when booking)
🔹 Next, the Practitioner will apply pure Dead Sea Mud to the entire body wrapping it in foil to allow the mud to detoxify the skin. While the Dead Sea Mud works its magic, the Practioner will relieve tension from the neck, scalp, and feet before completely rinsing off the client and applying our premium Vitamin E hydrating oil to finish off this full body nourishment.

🔹Lauren Corsillo is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Reiki Master, Meditation Teacher, and Sound Healer with over 15 years of experience in the Mental Health and Wellness field. She is a full-time therapist at Lifestance Health in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Lauren is certified in Sound Ceremony Healing from Five Sense Collective in Malibu, California. Lauren is also trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, and taught meditation and wellness coaching at Cleveland Clinic Wellness Institute.
