👁️✨ When it comes to vision correction, LASIK and EVO ICL are both safe, proven options—but they work in very different ways.

LASIK reshapes the cornea using a precision laser to help light focus properly on the retina. It’s quick, effective, and permanent, but it does depend on corneal thickness and may not be ideal for those with thin or irregular corneas or chronic dry eyes.

EVO ICL, on the other hand, improves vision by placing a soft, flexible lens inside the eye—without altering the cornea. Because nothing is removed, it’s often a great option for higher prescriptions, thinner corneas, or dry eyes, and it offers a reversible alternative for patients who want long-term flexibility.

Not sure which option fits your eyes, lifestyle, and future goals?

The doctors at Milan Eye Center are here to guide you every step of the way.

It’s the most studied elective procedure globally and has the highest patient satisfaction rate of any elective surgery(around 95%).

👁️ An eyelid lesion is a change or growth in the tissue of the eyelid. These lesions can appear as small bumps, spots, or areas of discoloration and may be pigmented or skin-colored.

The good news? Many eyelid lesions are benign and harmless, including common bumps that develop over time. However, some lesions can be malignant or cancerous, which is why having them evaluated by an eye care professional is so important.

If you’ve noticed a new growth, a change in color, or something on your eyelid that isn’t going away, don’t ignore it. Early evaluation can make all the difference.

👀 What Is Dry Eye?

Dry eye is a medical condition—not just a daily irritation. It occurs when your tears either evaporate too quickly (evaporative dry eye) or when you don’t have enough tear film to properly protect and lubricate the eye (tear film insufficiency).

Your tear film keeps your eyes comfortable and your vision clear. As we age, this protective layer can diminish, leaving the eyes more sensitive to wind, dust, and dryness.

💧 And yes—watery eyes can still be dry eye. When the tear film is unstable, the eyes often overproduce tears to compensate.

If you’re experiencing dryness, burning, or excessive tearing, our specialists can help.

✨ Before & After Spotlight ✨

These results speak for themselves. Just 2 months after a single Halo treatment, our patient’s skin shows remarkable improvement in tone, texture, and overall radiance.

Performed by Dr. Kiran Sajja, Halo uses hybrid fractional laser technology to target years of sun damage, discoloration, fine lines, and uneven skin — all with minimal downtime.

Curious what Halo could do for you? Call us to schedule your consultation: 678-381-2020

✨At Milan Eye Center, we’re committed to offering advanced, minimally invasive solutions to protect your vision — including ABiC (Ab Interno Canaloplasty).

ABiC is a canal-based glaucoma procedure designed to restore your eye’s natural outflow system with minimal tissue trauma. Using a microcatheter, your surgeon gently opens and vasodilates the trabecular meshwork, Schlemm’s canal, and collector channels — treating the full 360º drainage pathway without stents, shunts, or implants.

💡 Why patients love ABiC:

• No implants, stents, or permanent devices

• Restores natural fluid flow

• Can be performed on its own or alongside cataract surgery

• Quick, comfortable outpatient procedure

• No sutures & rapid recovery time

Post-operative care is simple: a short course of NSAID and antibiotic drops, similar to cataract post-op recovery when combined with cataract surgery.

If you’re looking for a gentle, effective option for glaucoma management, our specialists are here to help you explore whether ABiC is right for you. 👁️💙
