Sometimes a calling to serve truly never ends, and David is a powerful example of that truth. David has been a dedicated member of the Comfort Keepers team for over 10 years, positively impacting countless clients and families through his compassion, consistency, and genuine commitment to care.

Families often share how much of a difference David has made in their loved ones’ lives. One daughter shared that her father cherished David’s visits and deeply enjoyed their conversations, shared interests, and the companionship David provided. Each day he would ask, “Is David coming tomorrow?” For his family, that simple question spoke volumes and brought great peace of mind knowing their father felt connected, valued, and cared for.

David is no stranger to serving others. He proudly served in the United States Army as a paratrooper and was stationed in Italy, where he developed the discipline, resilience, and sense of responsibility that continue to guide his work today. After completing his military service, David felt called to continue helping others in a meaningful way and carried his oath of service into civilian life through caregiving.

David lives out the spirit of service at the highest level by showing up with integrity, heart, and unwavering dedication. Our community is better because of him, and we are incredibly grateful for his continued commitment to elevating the human spirit.

This morning offered a powerful reminder of the role unity plays in building strong communities. Members of our team attended the Martin Luther King Jr. Unity Breakfast hosted by the Charlie Ferguson Community Center alongside Cherokee County Government.

A message from the program resonated clearly, “There is no community, without unity.” That idea reflects our mission across every Comfort Keepers location as we support individuals and families through compassionate, relationship-centered care.
