MonteCedro Sales & Marketing was delighted to welcome our wonderful community partners, Altadena Guild, to campus for a festive holiday lunch. Forty-five guests gathered at Marcell’s to celebrate the season and enjoy their first visit to MonteCedro.

With the Guild's Home Tours postponed until 2027, this holiday gathering was especially meaningful, bringing together many members who hadn’t seen one another in over a year. MonteCedro is proud to continue building strong partnerships and lasting friendships within the Altadena community.

Combining powerhouse nutrition and eye health were the subject of the Dietitian talk this past week. Chef Juan provided a live demo on how to make roasted garlic and kale humus, and then showed how to combine it with the superfood of the month, herbal tea. The dietitian gave a wonderful talk, that wove around the demo, on how to eat to help keep your eyes healthy and happy. The appreciative audience was able to sample the humus and left with a recipe.

Last night, the Altadena Rotary Club gathered at MonteCedro for their annual Holiday Party. Elizabeth Saldebar, Director of Sales and Marketing, along with fellow Rotarians, enjoyed a wonderful evening filled with warmth, cheer, delicious food, and festive holiday spirit.

Last night MonteCedro celebrated its “‘Tis the Season for a 10 Year Anniversary” party. With an amazing jazz band to kick off the night, to carolers and Santa, to an after-party with Decades of Rock…it was a night filled with delicious food, great music, and community! Stay tuned for more photos!

Yesterday the residents enjoyed a visit to the Pasadena Museum of History, with a wonderful guided tour of the Fényes Mansion. The mansion is beautiful and was even more spectacular all dressed up for the holidays. Thank you to our Creative Living partners at the Pasadena Museum of History for planning such a special outing for the residents.

The spectacular performed a Christmas concert for the residents, yesterday. Four hands flew across the piano keys as Vijay and Eva played all of the movements from “The Nutcracker,” as well as many other seasonal favorites. It was holiday perfection!

The best testimonial ever about the joy goats bring to residents! We plan events with several times a year - the more creative the better! Today caroling & chair yoga! As you can hear, it was a fun and interactive event, that was playful and engaging!

Today the residents held their annual “Employee Appreciation” event to thank the MonteCedro team for their dedication and hard work during the past year. Team members were invited to attend and pick up a gift, before joining the residents for conversation and holiday treats. It is always a special day and means so much to everyone!
