Nestled below the picturesque San Gabriel Mountains above Pasadena, in Altadena, CA. We are one of the few remaining family-operated cemetery/mortuary properties in the area. Our tradition of service was established in the nineteenth century, yet offers the full personalization made available by today's technology. We invite you to visit our grounds 365 days a year, from 8am to 5pm. Professional funeral staff are available 24 hours a day. We are a full service funeral home, mortuary, crematory, and cemetery serving families at need and pre need. We are here to provide individualized, professional services to each person that walks through our door.

Decades ago, Mountain View Cemetery acquired what is now the northern section of our property, known today as Mountain Vineyard and Mountain Meadows. This land was once part of the orange groves 🍊 that covered much of Altadena.

This weekend, our Mountain View family came together to honor the mother of one of our own 😢. Her final resting place now lies on land once owned by the family into which she married, connecting her legacy to the land's long history.

It was a moment to reflect not only on her life, but also on the quiet ways our stories and surroundings continue to intertwine.
