The stained glass windows that have washed the marble corridors of Mountain View Mausoleum in colored light for more than a century are in danger of falling from their frames.

Meanwhile, Amigos has been keeping our trees and greenery thriving with supplemental water. 🌳💧

Decades ago, Mountain View Cemetery acquired what is now the northern section of our property, known today as Mountain Vineyard and Mountain Meadows. This land was once part of the orange groves 🍊 that covered much of Altadena.

This weekend, our Mountain View family came together to honor the mother of one of our own 😢. Her final resting place now lies on land once owned by the family into which she married, connecting her legacy to the land's long history.

It was a moment to reflect not only on her life, but also on the quiet ways our stories and surroundings continue to intertwine.
