💡 Quick Tip for Knee Pain

If your knees hurt going up or down stairs, try this:
➡️ Lean slightly forward and push through your heel instead of your toes.

This helps engage your glutes more and takes pressure off the front of your knee.

Small changes = big relief. Let us know if you try it!

“Motion is lotion.” 💪

If you’re feeling stiff, achy, or hesitant to move, the answer usually isn’t less movement—it’s the right movement.

Start small today:
✔️ Take a short walk
✔️ Stretch for 5 minutes
✔️ Do one thing your body will thank you for

Consistency beats intensity every time.

🏆 **Patient Win of the Week**

After receiving excellent **post-op rehab for a hip replacement**, one of our patients was curious about what else we could help with… and it turns out there were **no shortage of things to work on.**

Once the surgical hip was feeling strong, we shifted focus to the **other hip to hopefully avoid another replacement** and even addressed an **old shoulder injury** along the way.

Here’s what they had to say:

*"They got me up and moving quickly after my hip replacement. They also helped me work on my other hip so hopefully I won’t need another surgery, and even addressed an old shoulder injury. They listened, took their time, and treated me as an individual—not just a textbook treatment. The practice is warm and welcoming. Erik, Stephanie, and all of the staff are wonderful to work with."*

At Altamont PT, getting out of pain is just the beginning.
Once people see what’s possible, we keep working together toward **the next goal.**

🔍 Service Spotlight: Movement Assessment

Pain isn’t random—and neither is your treatment.

At Altamont PT, we start with a detailed movement assessment to figure out why you’re having pain—not just where.

That’s how we build a plan that actually works… and keeps the problem from coming back.

💡 Tuesday Tip: Consistency Beats Intensity

You don’t need the “perfect” workout.
You need a repeatable one.

10–15 minutes a day of the right exercises will take you further than one hard workout once a week.

Keep it simple. Stay consistent. Results will follow.
