Addressing all components gives our bodies the ability to function optimally, to heal.

Traumas are an obvious cause of pain and issues because we all have had some type of injury that caused dysfunction of a joint or a limitation of our bodies capabilities.

Thoughts are likely a large culprit of pain. We all deal with stress but some of us do not know how to deal with it correctly.

Harbored stress can stimulate muscle contractions that cause muscular imbalances, and can lead the vertebrae to shift as the muscle tightens.

Tight muscles can even alter blood flow and limit healing.

This is why you feel that “stress” in your neck and shoulders, and sometimes it leads to a headache.

Stress can even lead to shallow breathing. Less oxygen = less healthy blood being delivered to cells.

Toxins can lead to issues in healing because we are not giving our bodies the proper building blocks to create healthy life.

And sometimes we are disrupting these processes with unnatural, unhealthy foods.

Micro plastics are a big buzz word right now because they are an issue, but did you know dry cleaning chemicals are neurotoxic?

PERC and TCE have been linked to both acute and long-term neurological effects like impaired cognitive function, blurred vision, memory loss, and dizziness.

Make sure you’re addressing all three T’s so your body has a chance at working and healing the best it can, for as long as it can.

It’s not the strongest who survive.

It’s not even the most intelligent.

It’s the ones who ADAPT.

Your body is designed to adapt to stress.

Physical stress. Chemical stress. Emotional stress.

But adaptation requires capacity.

When your nervous system is functioning well, you regulate stress more efficiently. You recover faster. You respond instead of react.

Chiropractic care is about improving that adaptability.

Resilience is built through:

Intelligent movement

Proper nutrition

Nervous system regulation

The goal isn’t just feeling better.

It’s functioning better.

IAdaptability is survival.

Resilience is trained.

If you’re ready to improve how your body handles stress, let’s build that capacity.

I may be biased! But chiropractic and preventative health care are THE way.

Biohacking has been a buzz word the last 10 years.

Simply taking care of yourself is “biohacking”.

The American population is so busy eroding itself that sleeping 7-8 hours sounds “lazy”.

Uber Eats is so big no one even “has time” to cook for themselves.

I even saw a meme the other day with someone looking in the refrigerator that said “when you’re looking for food but there is only ingredients”. LOL

Nothing is easier and less time consuming than maintenance style health care.

Get sun.

Eat a variety of nutritious foods.

At least 6-8 hours of sleep.

Meditation/solitude for emotional stress.

A variety of exercises.

And maybe supplementation is the new norm with “foods being less nutritious than previous generations”.

Have you ever gotten on a chiropractic table feeling “fine” and gotten up after your adjustment and thought “wow I feel better”?

THAT is how easy it can be.

Weight loss isn’t always a food issue, sometimes it’s a system issue.

Sleep. Movement. Stress. Consistency. What you eat.

These all matter.

But what most people miss is that these are the same systems governing your pain, your recovery, and how your body responds to life.

Physical stress, emotional stress, and poor nutrition don’t just affect your waistline.

They affect your NERVOUS SYSTEM, your inflammation, your ability to heal.

That’s why we don’t just focus on one thing.

We like to focus on the whole picture.

Maintenance keeps the system running.

There are no shortcuts to real, sustainable results.

The version of you that eats well, moves daily, and takes care of your body isn’t some future person you need to become.

That person already exists. You just need to stop negotiating with the part of you that wants to stay comfortable.

Change happens when behavior aligns with identity. When doing the thing feels normal and skipping it creates friction.

Motivation is fleeting, it comes and goes with your mood, stress levels, and sleep quality. Identity is permanent. It’s who you believe you are at your core.

The person you want to become already exists inside you.

You’re not starting from scratch.

You’re just remembering who you’ve always been and refusing to negotiate with yourself anymore.

Consistency isn’t built on feelings. It’s built on deciding who you are, then acting accordingly until it becomes automatic.

This is what healthy, consistent eating looks like.

Did you know I used to weigh 265 pounds?

I’d like to say it was all muscle, but the only muscle getting overworked was my heart.

I’m down just over 5 pounds since January 5.

The first week kind of sucked. I felt depleted the first three days. I got a headache the first week and I had some FOMO of some very tasty looking treats on the second weekend.

Last week I celebrated with some cookies as my first “cheat meal”, but honestly Greek yogurt with honey, and berries, tastes like a cheat meal but it’s packed with protein and fits within my plan.

This is when things start to get great. I feel like my taste buds are “reprogramming”.

I don’t want anything that is too sweet.

And I know my microbiome is in a much healthier state.

We’ve been busy at the office. I’ve missed a meal or two and my body is not screaming at me.

You can do this too. Nutrition and dieting is all math.

If you’re feeling stuck, let’s work!

Willpower can be trained.

But environment decides how hard it has to work.

Stress makes food the easiest source of control and pleasure.

That’s your nervous system adapting.

Physical stress, emotional stress, and chemical stress all compound each other.

Fix the inputs and eating better gets easier.

Training volume is important, but daily movement drives metabolic health.

You can’t compensate for 8 hours of sitting with 1 hour of hard training.

Movement throughout the day supports fat loss, reduces back pain, and improves digestion.

You cannot out train a sedentary life.

Move daily.

Train intelligently.
