Your headache could be a structural issue!

But you’ll never know cause you’re taking medication for it.

Chemicals won’t fix a bone issue.

If you or someone you know is having headaches and still hasn’t tried chiropractic, it’s time you get real help.

You don’t fix a structural issue with a pill.

You fix it through precise movement and balance.

Honestly, what makes more sense?

Taking a medication that dissolves in your stomach, and then kind of travels through the body to fix your headache?

Or addressing what could be the “root cause” or at least the part of a cause, adjusting the bone, increasing movement and releasing tension?

I’ll pick the latter!

Not just because I’m biased, but because I see it every week in the office.

People who have spent thousands of dollars and have “tried everything”, but we are the last resort because they are trying to find the fix.

I’ve felt it for myself.

At one point in my life, I was getting headaches so bad I was throwing up from the pain.

Was chiropractic the singular fix that helped me out?

No, but it was a huge part of the puzzle.

Let us help you find that missing piece.

Tension headaches don’t start in your head. They start in your neck. 🧠

Here’s the 4-step process most people never learn:

A neck bone shifts out of normal position.

Neck muscles (scalenes, suboccipitals, traps) spasm to protect it.

Those tight muscles irritate nerves which send warning signals to your head muscles.

A chain reaction of tightening muscles encircles your head.

That’s your tension headache

The scalenes attach C3–C6 and control how you breathe and move your neck. The suboccipitals attach directly to C1 and C2 where 50% of your neck movement happens. The upper trap connects straight to the base of your skull.

When these muscles are locked up, you lose range of motion AND get chronic head pressure.

Chiropractic adjustments target the root cause(s) restoring alignment, reducing nerve irritation, releasing muscle tension, and getting your neck moving freely again.

You don’t have to live with it.

Ever heard of a tension headache?

Here’s what’s actually happening in your body.

When you’re stressed, your shoulders rise, your jaw clenches, and your neck muscles (your SCM, suboccipitals, and traps) lock up.

That sustained muscle contraction compresses the joints, soft tissue, and nerves at the base of your skull.

The result?

Pain that radiates behind your eyes, around your head, and down your neck.

Stress triggers the muscle tension.

The muscle tension creates the headache.

So if you want to fix the headache, you have to treat the neck.

Not mask the symptoms with medication.

Managing stress helps, but the real answer is addressing the structural cause.

If this sounds like what you’ve been dealing with, reach out. We’re here.

Consistency can be fun.

Did you know most health issues (and reasons people die) can be mitigated with a healthy lifestyle that consists of:

Good nutrition
Light/Moderate Exercise
Stress Reduction Techniques
Sun
Water

Find out what you like and make it work, just make sure it’s the healthiest option you can choose.

In our house, we eat a lot of eggs and a lot of meat.

That doesn’t mean I’m missing out on my fiber or my veggies.

Just because I’m eating a ton nutrient dense and whole foods doesn’t mean I can’t have a cookie cake for my birthday.

Also, going out to eat doesn’t mean you can’t make it as healthy as possible.

The doctor said everything looked normal. But you still feel dizzy.

Here’s what they may have missed: your neck.

Your upper cervical spine is packed with proprioceptors, sensors that constantly tell your brain where your head is in space.

When those joints are restricted or misaligned, the signal gets distorted.

Your brain receives conflicting information and responds with dizziness, brain fog, or that unsettling sense of unsteadiness.

It’s called cervicogenic dizziness.

It’s not an inner ear problem. It’s a neck problem and it responds well to chiropractic care.

By restoring normal joint motion, we help reset that proprioceptive signal and get your brain the accurate information it needs.

If this sounds familiar, reach out. We’ve helped a lot of people who were told everything was “fine.”

Why do we reach for a pill every time our head hurts?

Think about it!

If a structural problem is creating muscle tension that’s compressing nerves and restricting movement. No amount of ibuprofen is going to fix that.

It’ll just quiet the alarm while the problem keeps running in the background.

Reoccurring headaches, migraines, vertigo, and visual disturbances are often rooted in what’s happening in your neck.

Tight muscle muscles, poor posture, past injuries.

These are physical problems that respond to physical solution solutions.

The solution to your problem is not in some pill bottle. It is in fixing the main cause of your issues!

Common reoccurring headaches are associated with muscle tension in the neck and head.

We have helped tons of people over the years with headaches, migraines, and visual disturbances that seem to be correlated with tight muscles and structural issues in the neck.

Whether it’s from stress, posture, or an injury it makes more sense to take a hands-on approach to find relief than to take a chemical approach to fix a structural issue (ie medication for “normal” headaches).

I understand everyone is different and the human body is complex. But it seems strange how common it is to try and fix something with an outside influence (pills, shower, dark rooms to fix headaches) instead of taking tension off the muscles, which may be compressing nerves, or limiting movement.

You ever notice you’re a completely different person after eating like garbage for a week? That’s not a coincidence.

You can’t separate brain health from body health.
We often talk about stress, anxiety, low energy, and brain fog as if they start in the mind alone.

But up to 95% of serotonin is produced in the gut.

Blood sugar swings affect mood and focus.

Chronic inflammation influences how your nervous system functions.

What you eat is not just fuel.

It is biochemical instruction.

Processed foods, refined sugars, and nutrient deficiencies don’t just impact weight, they influence neurotransmitters, inflammation levels, and energy regulation.

On the other side, whole foods, fiber, healthy fats, and adequate micronutrients support:

Stable blood sugar

A healthier gut microbiome

Reduced inflammation

Improved mental clarity

Small, consistent changes compound.

You don’t need perfection.

You need direction.

If you’ve been feeling:

Low energy

Irritable

Foggy

Unmotivated

It may be worth asking…

Is this a mindset issue, or a metabolic one?

Addressing all components gives our bodies the ability to function optimally, to heal.

Traumas are an obvious cause of pain and issues because we all have had some type of injury that caused dysfunction of a joint or a limitation of our bodies capabilities.

Thoughts are likely a large culprit of pain. We all deal with stress but some of us do not know how to deal with it correctly.

Harbored stress can stimulate muscle contractions that cause muscular imbalances, and can lead the vertebrae to shift as the muscle tightens.

Tight muscles can even alter blood flow and limit healing.

This is why you feel that “stress” in your neck and shoulders, and sometimes it leads to a headache.

Stress can even lead to shallow breathing. Less oxygen = less healthy blood being delivered to cells.

Toxins can lead to issues in healing because we are not giving our bodies the proper building blocks to create healthy life.

And sometimes we are disrupting these processes with unnatural, unhealthy foods.

Micro plastics are a big buzz word right now because they are an issue, but did you know dry cleaning chemicals are neurotoxic?

PERC and TCE have been linked to both acute and long-term neurological effects like impaired cognitive function, blurred vision, memory loss, and dizziness.

Make sure you’re addressing all three T’s so your body has a chance at working and healing the best it can, for as long as it can.

It’s not the strongest who survive.

It’s not even the most intelligent.

It’s the ones who ADAPT.

Your body is designed to adapt to stress.

Physical stress. Chemical stress. Emotional stress.

But adaptation requires capacity.

When your nervous system is functioning well, you regulate stress more efficiently. You recover faster. You respond instead of react.

Chiropractic care is about improving that adaptability.

Resilience is built through:

Intelligent movement

Proper nutrition

Nervous system regulation

The goal isn’t just feeling better.

It’s functioning better.

IAdaptability is survival.

Resilience is trained.

If you’re ready to improve how your body handles stress, let’s build that capacity.

I may be biased! But chiropractic and preventative health care are THE way.

Biohacking has been a buzz word the last 10 years.

Simply taking care of yourself is “biohacking”.

The American population is so busy eroding itself that sleeping 7-8 hours sounds “lazy”.

Uber Eats is so big no one even “has time” to cook for themselves.

I even saw a meme the other day with someone looking in the refrigerator that said “when you’re looking for food but there is only ingredients”. LOL

Nothing is easier and less time consuming than maintenance style health care.

Get sun.

Eat a variety of nutritious foods.

At least 6-8 hours of sleep.

Meditation/solitude for emotional stress.

A variety of exercises.

And maybe supplementation is the new norm with “foods being less nutritious than previous generations”.

Have you ever gotten on a chiropractic table feeling “fine” and gotten up after your adjustment and thought “wow I feel better”?

THAT is how easy it can be.
