Applied Behavior Analysis:

ABA, applied behavioral analysis, is simply the application of behavioral principles, to everyday situations, that will, over time, increase or decrease targeted behaviors. ABA has been used to help individuals acquire many different skills, such as language skills, self-help skills, and play skills. These principles can help to decrease maladaptive behaviors such as aggression, self-stimulatory behaviors, and self-injury. Respite:

Respite care is an essential part of the overall support that families may need to keep their family member with a disability at home. The word "respite" means to have a temporary relief or break from the daily challenge of caring for your loved ones with special needs. Respite can take place in your home or temporarily in another setting, such as a day center or in the community. Respite can take place regularly or intermittently, as you need it; however, it does need to be scheduled in advance. Companion:

Companion provide someone to help you complete activities such as shopping, household chores, prepare meals, and take you to community functions. Companion services provide non-medical care, socialization, and/or support. This service is provided in your home or at various locations in the community.
