My body always tells me first. Stomach tightening = truth I’m not speaking. And every time I override my gut, i’m teaching myself. I’m not honorable. I’m not trustworthy.

If we want to stop abandoning ourselves, we have to start paying attention to what our body tells us. Stop ignoring it. Stop shoving it over there.

When does your body speak most? When you’re around family, friends, your significant other?

“I Called It Love- It Was Self Abandonment” is a new blog on my website. If you’re interested, the link is in my bio.

For years, I thought I was being loyal, patient, and kind.

But looking back, I was slowly disappearing from my own life — one “flex”at a time.

Self-love isn’t selfish; it’s the daily practice of staying true to yourself, even when it’s uncomfortable because staying true and being in alignment with what you really want is calming, healing and honest. 💛

Something about being caught on camera changes everything.

For many people who’ve been betrayed, especially by a partner having an affair at work, the hardest part isn’t always the cheating itself — it’s the gaslighting. The way their intuition was dismissed. The late nights and inside jokes brushed off. The “you’re overreacting” that kept them questioning their own reality.

But when something is exposed publicly — like what happened at that concert — it bypasses the fog. There’s no more denying it. No more rewriting it. And for some, that moment on a screen mirrored a moment they lived in private.

If that’s you, please know:

🔹 You are not crazy.
🔹 Your gut was right.
🔹 You deserved honesty.

If you’re open to it - healing after infidelity can happen. It takes time. But it can happen. Here’s what helps:

💬 Naming what was hidden
📍 Creating new boundaries — without questions.
🤝 Getting support from someone trained in betrayal trauma
🛠️ Working together to rebuild truth and safety.

And if you’re still struggling — still carrying the weight, still trying to figure out what comes next — it’s ok. There’s no big finish line. This is a process. One day, one hour at a time. And breathe.

You deserve support from someone who sees all of it.
Your pain. Your skepticism. Your clarity. Your hope.
