To All in the Orlando Dental Community,
A Tribute to Dr. David Plank, DDS MSD
I recently visited with David and had the honor of being gifted one of his cherished Peanuts ties, wherein one of the gang seems to be receiving an LOE from a dog. ; )) Many of you may remember Dr. Plank as THE specialist in Removable Prosthodontics in our area for a very long time. He was President of the Florida Prosthodontic Association in 1997, and helped countless people with complex maxillofacial deficiencies. Personally, I regarded David as someone who practiced his profession with integrity, treating his patients as he would like to be treated, and even processing most of the removable prostheses himself. David delighted in the Peanuts gang. Prints adorned his office and his tie collection was extensive. So today I would like to recognize and celebrate the contributions of my friend and colleague, Dr. David Plank, to our shared dental community, and in his retirement I will proudly sport my new Snoopy neckwear!!
