Hello Orlando! Make sure you stay well hydrated this summer. Dehydration can put a strain on your kidney function. Water is generally the best option to rehydrate avoiding that extra sugar. If you are sweating for a prolonged period of time and not eating, you may want to consider a fluid with electrolytes to make sure you don’t develop complications from low electrolytes. Of course, please talk to your doctor regarding your unique clinical situation or call our office and make an appointment with our board certified nephrologist who will help you attain health & wellness!
