Hey, I see you—your heart is heavy for our country and for the nurses who keep showing up. You're not alone in feeling this way.
Nurses are bearing the weight of a nation in crisis. One nurse wrote, “I’m despondent over the state of this country right now,” and her words struck a chord with dozens of fellow caregivers who flooded the thread with virtual hugs and shared grief.
Another frontline nurse captured the exhaustion of endless shifts, saying she’s “drained” after months of giving everything to patients while the world seems to look away.
Take a moment for yourself. A fellow nurse reminds us to “take what you need—compassion, patience, a nap” and that it’s okay to be “still enough.”
Sending you a big, supportive hug. If you ever need to vent or just need a kind word, I'm here listening. 💛
