ARTS IN RECOVERY 2026! Friday, May 15th @ 7:00pm, Zion Lutheran Church in Hollidaysburg. Come listen and see how the arts can bring healing and hope! All are welcome for an evening that celebrates and expresses the gift of recovery through music, art, poetry and more. Addiction touches all of our lives in one way or another. Join with persons in recovery, local treatment professionals, family members, advocates and more for a special night together.

You may also consider making a submission for the evening (*no submission required to attend!). We are looking for music, poetry, visual art, or any art that expresses the gift of recovery. Share a song, read a poem, or have your visual art displayed. Submissions can be made online at the link below or at www.zionhollidaysburg.org

💥 IT'S BAAAAACCCKKKKK!!!!!!!!

Get your singing and listening skills dusted off, as we will be having another OPEN MIC NIGHT EVENT in just 20 days!!! 💃🕺

This time, we will be partnering with ArtsAltoona for the event on Thursday April 30 from 6-8pm 👏👏👏

This is an EXCELLANT time -EVERY time - to get together with some of the most talented people in recovery to show off those singing skills in a safe, supportive and FUN environment!

It is also a wonderful opportunity to get out of our houses and enjoy listening and connecting with others!!

WE ARE SO EXCITED for this new partnership and cannot wait to see (and HEAR 👂) you all there! 🥳

🥳‼ We hope everyone's Friday is going as smooth and enjoyable as possible!!

➡We are all VERY aware that the weekend is right around the corner (YYAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!), and we also know that (as people in recovery), the best way to fill our weekends is with a healthy dose of connection, gratitude, and acceptance. The following meetings are a great opportunity to process the past week - and prepare for the week ahead.

CRAFT (Community Reinforcement and Family Training) is a workshop for families whose loved ones are suffering with substance use disorder. This workshop will help families move their loved ones towards treatment, reduce substance use, and helps to empower you to change.

We will meet every Tuesday beginning 3/17/2026, and will run for 12 weeks. Materials are provided for free, and include a book and workbook to go along with each topic we discuss.

This is an amazing opportunity to learn how to communicate, promote safety and recovery, and take care of ourselves during such a chaotic and scary time. It is also a chance to connect to others who are experiencing the same fears and frustrations.

We cannot wait to see you there!!!
