RFTM COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
• New Treatment Room Protocols
o Changing of sheets between clients has always been a practice, however now the blanket will be changed between clients as well.
o Disposable table and face cradle covers will now be used and changed between each client.
o HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) and VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) Filter
• Cleaning of Reception and other areas
o Doorknobs, bolsters, face cradle, stool, lotion bottle, arm rests, light switches, side tables, reception desk and point-of-sale equipment will continue to be wiped down but will now be cleaned with EPA approved disinfectants.
o Please note that I have no control over the hallway and bathroom areas so please adjust your actions accordingly.
• New Appointment Policy
o Due to COVID-19, I am temporarily limiting the number of daily appointments. The health and safety of my clients is very important to me. For this reason, walk-in appointments will not be accepted and I am spacing clients so only one person is in the office besides myself. I am not allowing new clients to schedule or offering online scheduling at this time so that adequate time can be kept between clients for cleaning protocols.
o If you are experiencing a fever, cough, or sore throat, please reschedule your appointment for when you are no longer symptomatic. If you have been to a COVID-19-impacted area or have been in close contact with a person infected with COVID-19, we ask that you please reschedule your appointment for 14 days past the date of contact.
• New Cancellation Policy
o Amid the ongoing uncertainty of COVID-19, I have modified the cancellation policy to offer greater flexibility to all clients. I hope this will alleviate any stress and hesitation you have about an upcoming appointment. If you need to reschedule for whatever reason, and especially if you are not feeling well, I understand and request for you to please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule. To further support you, there will be no penalties for cancellations.
• New Transparency Policy
o If I start showing any apparent COVID-19 symptoms, I will call you and I expect that you do the same in return.
• New Face Mask Policy
o Face masks will be worn by both the client and the massage therapist at all times.
