James Earl Heard of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away at his home on February 11, 2026, at the age of 71. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, February 23rd, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 24th, also at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel. Burial will immediately follow at the Altus City Cemetery.

Aaron Leander Wescott, a devout husband, loving father, and faithful servant to his community, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026. His life was marked by an enduring devotion to serving others, a deep sense of brotherhood and camaraderie, and—above all—the humble, steadfast love he poured into his family. Aaron’s eternal ember of kindness and faith will continue to glow in the lives of all who were blessed to know him.

Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 21, 2026, in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Firefighter Honors. Military Honors will be rendered by the Blue Knights Honor Guard.

A parking lot attendant will be available to assist with traffic flow. Guests attending are kindly asked to park under the direction of the attendant. Additional parking is available at Western Sizzlin, north of the funeral home.

Your outpouring of love and steadfast support for fallen firefighter Aaron Wescott and his family reflects the very heart of this community. It is in these moments that we are reminded of the strength found in unity, compassion, and service to one another.

We are honored to continue our alliance with Altus Air Force Base Fire Department, Altus Fire/EMS Department, Altus Police Department, City of Altus, and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol as we bring Firefighter Wescott home.

On Tuesday, February 17, 2026, Altus Air Force Base will es**rt a fallen firefighter through our community.

The es**rt is expected to enter Altus between 3:00 and 3:30 PM, traveling from Lawton on Highway 62, north on Veterans, west on Tamarack, and ending at Kincannon.

Community members who would like to show their support are welcome to stand safely along the route. Your presence is a meaningful way to honor a life of service and sacrifice.

Please be mindful of traffic and allow extra travel time in the area during the es**rt.

Randal Neal Clowdus passed away peacefully at his home in Olustee on Thursday, February 12, 2026. Friends imagine him roaring into heaven on his motorcycle singing, “Hallelujah! I am here!”.

The family will formally greet friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 18th. Services will immediately follow in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Brad Pryor officiating. Burial will take place next to Randal's family at Olustee Cemetery.
