Brenda Sue Novak, endeared by all as “Brandi,” passed from this life at her home in Blair, Oklahoma, on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the age of 67. Mario Colón Torres, 66, of Altus, Oklahoma passed from this life on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. His calm and reassuring “it’s okay” attitude toward life helped shape his greatest joys, his daughters, Melanie and Shanie. Services are pending under the care of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Richard Neil Montgomery, known lovingly as “Neil” by all, passed from this life on Sunday, November 2, 2025. His life and legacy represent the very best of what we call the Oklahoma Standard—steadfast service, integrity, and kindness toward others.

The family will formally greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 6th. Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Friday, November 7th, in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Monty Montgomery officiating. Immediately following Neil will be laid to rest next to Cissie at Riverside Cemetery in Mangum.

We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the VFW Post 4876 of Altus for their generous donation of four military flags in beautiful wooden display cases to our Kincannon Funeral Home team.

Each case can be inscribed to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. We are so grateful for this meaningful gift and for all the ways our local VFW continues to support veterans and our community.
