Kimberly Peace, Pre-op RN at Panhandle Surgical Hospital and Vern Talley, Patient Stay Unit RN at Quail Creek Surgical Hospital

Kim was so personable, thorough, had a great personality, cheerful (for so early in the morning), administered the best IV I’ve ever had, and was very caring and kind. She is a great nurse! Kim made me feel at ease and was so nice to address any of my needs. She was called out to help another nurse, but politely excused herself. Kim did an excellent job caring for me.

Vern was incredibly encouraging and always positive. Nothing surprised him because he had actually been through knee replacement surgery himself. He was compassionate, very knowledgeable, and always entertaining. His humor was distracting at exactly the right times - when he might be doing something necessary but uncomfortable. He was just the BEST and sharing his own experiences was very encouraging. Vern is very deserving of the Daisy Award!

Thank you, Kimberly and Vern, for taking such good care of our patients.
