Join Texas A&M AgriLife Extension in collaboration with Communities Unlimited at Potter County Extension Office for a food preparation demo and tasting! Better Living for Texans agent will promote making healthy food choices and identifying portion sizes, fat, sodium, and added sugars found in foods. There is no cost to attend.

Due to the heavy rain last night through this morning, Growing and Nourishing Healty Communities will not meet this morning at the Potter County Extension Office. Our garden area is soaked and it will be difficult to clear the garden bed as planned.

A couple of pics of our starters taken on Tuesday. They have grown 300% in a few days and many more have germinated and sprouted!!

Due to the possibility of inclement weather this Saturday, the start of the Growing and Nourishing Healthy Communities Garden will be postponed. Even though we plan to be indoors for this activity, driving to the Potter County Extension Office might be hazardous. We will be mindful of safety and begin the program by planting our starter seeds on Saturday, April 12.
