Celebrating 10 Years of Impact: Get F.I.T. to Stay Fit
After a decade of service, the Get F.I.T. to Stay Fit colorectal cancer screening project is wrapping up — and what an incredible journey it's been! 💙
Thanks to the support of CPRIT, community partners, and dedicated health professionals, we've made a lasting difference across the Texas Panhandle:
📊 Since 2015, we've:
✅ Reached 2.5 million people
✅ Educated 148,000+ community members
✅ Trained 17,000 professionals
✅ Distributed 8,300+ FIT test kits
✅ Performed 753 colonoscopies
✅ Removed 518 pre-cancerous polyps
✅ Diagnosed 8 colorectal cancers - and connected each person to care
Every number represents a life touched, a family helped, and a community strengthened.
