🎉🐣 Easter Extravaganza at Five Points Nursing & Rehab! 🐣🎉

This Friday at Five Points, Amber, our fearless Activities Director, absolutely crushed it. She orchestrated a day that was as sweet as her desserts (shout-out to dietary for the delicious treats—you deserved a standing ovation and a second slice). 🍰✹

But she wasn’t flying solo. We had a dream team of volunteers sneaking around—hiding those Easter eggs with the stealth of a cat that knows where all the snacks are. đŸ„šđŸŽŻ

Therapy rolled up with high fives and laughter, turning ordinary moments into memory-making fun. From egg hunts to goofy games, the joy was contagious, and the smiles were bigger than our coffee mugs on a Monday morning. â˜•ïžđŸ˜„

Big thanks to everyone who hopped in to help and to the amazing residents who brought the energy. If you weren’t there, you missed the most egg-cellent Friday since
 well, ever. 😉

Here’s to more moments that feel like a rom-com with a guaranteed happy ending. Stay tuned for the bloopers reel—yes, we have those too. 🎬😁

We just made a video with our incredible Rehab dream team: Sonia, David, Jodi, and Nohelia. It’s got more swagger than a red carpet and more dramatic pauses than a soap opera. Picture this: a voiceover in the spirit of Simon Cowell asking if we’re a “click” or a “clique.” Spoiler alert: we gladly declared ourselves a click, because teamwork is basically a group text that never needs a notification—just flawless alignment and perfectly timed hip whips.

When the moment came to celebrate our verdict, we all whirled in unison, hips snapping like a Wi‑Fi signal at full strength, and—yep—left the air with a decisive “click.” If you listen closely, you’ll hear our certification of camaraderie: a unanimous, synchronized snap that says, “We’ve got each other’s backs, and we’re not afraid to show it.”

If you’ve ever wondered what happens when a rehab crew reconciles efficiency with a dash of Broadway, wonder no more. It’s a behind‑the‑scenes peek at chaos organized by people who lift more than spirits—though we do that, too. Bonus: we may have introduced a new cardio move called the click‑whip. It’s basically high‑energy teamwork with a dash of showmanship and a lot of good vibes.

Give it a watch, drop a like if you’re into well‑orchestrated therapy drama, and tell us in the comments: are you a click or a clique? Our answer remains: click forever.

Five Points Nursing & Rehab had a delicious Banana Split Day yesterday, thanks to our amazing Activity Director, Amber. Our residents enjoyed homemade banana splits together, and the smiles were brighter than the sunshine in the dining room. It was wonderful to see everyone share in a tasty treat and create joyful memories as a community. A big shout-out to Amber for planning such a fun, sweet activity. Families and friends are always welcome to join in the fun and visit us to see more moments like these.

Just a quick note to the superhero who’s never off-duty (unless she’s in the break room pretending the coffee grinder is a top-secret gadget): Clarissa Williams.

Clarissa, you turn chaotic days into calm, worried families into hopeful ones, and you do it all with a smile that makes us actually look forward to the next visit. If kindness were currency, you’d be the richest person in the building. If patience were a superpower, you’d have the cape, the boots, and maybe a tiny sidekick named “More Snacks.”

Thank you for:
Listening like you have a flawless memory for every tiny detail (even the ones we forgot we forgot)
Showing up when it matters most, usually armed with a latte and a plan
Advocating for our residents and families as if you were writing a feel-good sequel where everyone gets a happy ending
Making complex processes feel like a clearly labeled treasure map
Being the ally who turns “I don’t know what to do” into “Let’s figure this out together”

Clarissa, you’re the reminder that there’s still extraordinary kindness in the world—paired with killer organizational skills and a laugh that can turn chaos into clarity. We’re grateful for everything you do, and yes, we notice the tiny details your coffee-fueled superpowers catch before anyone else does.

If we could bottle your dedication, we’d be sipping it in a hammock on a beach somewhere (or, you know, during a staff meeting with fewer charts). Either way, you deserve a standing ovation, a trophy, and a lifetime supply of encouragement cards.

From all of us at Five Points Nursing & Rehab who have benefited from your unwavering care: thank you, Clarissa. You’re appreciated more than words can safely fit into a Facebook post without getting tagged in every comment section in existence.

With gratitude, Five Points Nursing & Rehab Family

Hey Five Points family, gather ’round the glow sticks of grandeur because today we’re unveiling the real MVP of the month: Amber Lovato, our Activities Director. Yes, Amber. The person who somehow makes bingo feel like a summer blockbuster and the word “rehab” sound like “re-hab-it” for happiness.

I’ll be honest: Amber wanted someone else to win this—because she’s that selfless, that legendary, that annoyingly good at making everyone smile. But here we are, recognizing the superstar who turns every day into a better day with a laugh, a song, and a perfectly coordinated group activity that somehow includes a spontaneous conga line at lunch.

Amber, you didn’t just plan activities; you orchestrated joy, one heartfelt moment at a time. From sunrise stretches to sunset sing-alongs, you remind us all that community isn’t a place—it’s a vibe. Thank you for your boundless energy, your incredible patience, and for making Five Points feel like the best kind of home.

To everyone else: if you’ve felt a lift in your step, you’ve felt Amber’s influence. Please join me in giving a thunderous round of applause (and maybe a quiet snack bribe to keep the dance moves going) for Amber Lovato, Employee of the Month.

Amber, you’ve earned this, and we’re right there with you for the encore. Bravo.

Hey everyone! This past week we rolled out Family Night here at Five Points Nursing & Rehabilitation, and yes, it was as legendary as a superhero with a cinnamon stick in his latte. Amber took the reins like a caped crusader of trivia, guiding us through movie trivia that somehow made popcorn feel like a plot twist.

We had refreshment station that was basically a barista’s dream and enough smiles to power a lightbulb factory. If you missed it, you didn’t miss a moment—you missed the non-stop joy, the perfectly-timed quips, and the heartwarming chaos that only family nights can deliver.

Big thanks to Amber for leading the charge and to everyone who showed up, laughed loudly, and bonded over trivia answers that were somehow both correct and questionable. Here’s to more nights that feel like a team-up in a feel-good blockbuster—with fewer explosions and more high-fives.

If you’ve got a favorite moment from Family Night, drop it in the comments. And yes, we’re already plotting the sequel: Family Night 2: The Return of the Snack Bar.

Hey everyone! This past week at Five Points Nursing & Rehab, our Activities Director Amber gave the residents a coffee adventure that was basically a cinematic masterpiece in a coffee shop chair.

Picture this:
Amber orchestrated a flawless coffee outing to Strata Coffee Bar, because nothing says “we nailed this day” like caffeine and conversation.
The residents brought their best smiles, and Amber brought her A-game, which apparently includes spontaneous stand-up and a latte that's basically a tiny umbrella for good vibes.
Strata became our VIP lounge for a few hours, with stories, laughs, and more heart than a rom-com montage.

Big thanks to Amber for turning a simple coffee run into a memory you’ll brag about to future generations (or at least to the grandkids who want to borrow your latte art). If you spotted us out and about, you probably heard the cheers
or the sound of a perfectly poured cappuccino.

Here’s to more moments like this—where community, coffee, and a dash of Reynolds-level charm collide. ☕✹

Hey friends, today at Five Points, we rolled out a Rehab skit that’ll leave you laughing and slightly inspired to clean your plate... or at least your windows. Spoiler: our cleaning game is so strong you might mistake a laugh for a wipe.

Big shout-out to the dream team:
Michelle Lowery, our fearless housekeeper. If there’s dirt, she makes it disappear—with style.
Amber, our Activity Director, turning “bored” into “board-certified entertainment.”
Sylvia, our ADON, who makes triaging towels look like high drama in a rom-com.

What you’ll see:
A window-washing spectacle that doubles as a magic trick
A laugh track that doubles as a pep talk
A reminder that this place is spotless and staffed with people who genuinely care

If you’re curious how clean a facility can be without turning into a cleaning product demo, come check it out. We may have over-delivered on the shine—you might catch your own reflection applauding.

Drop a comment if you want behind-the-scenes bloopers—because every spotless window deserves a little extra sparkle.

Hey Five Points family, friends, and people who pretend to be impressed by mashed potatoes (you know who you are).

Today’s lunch was a masterclass in comfort food: fried chicken with southern chicken gravy, mashed potatoes that could win a gold medal in smoothness, jalapeño pepper for a little kick, and creamed corn that’s basically a hug in a casserole dish. We also floated in a honey-kissed roll and wrapped it up with a southern orange marmalade cake that makes dessert feel like a standing ovation.

If you could taste this, you’d call it “deliciously nostalgic with a side of wow.” Our residents gave it two thumbs up, a gentle nod, and maybe a small victory dance from the dining hall suite. And yes, we saved a bite for the time-traveling food critic who lives in every plate.

Big shout-out to our culinary team—you're the real MVPs, turning comfort into cuisine and smiles into seconds. If you’re ever in the neighborhood, swing by for a bite. We promise it’s worth the visit and we’ll save you a seat (and maybe a drumstick).

Bon appĂ©tit from Five Points Nursing & Rehab. Stay sunny, stay kind, and keep the gravy train rollin’.
