Just wrapped up a New Year’s party at Five Points Nursing & Rehab. We dressed up, counted down, and somehow managed to drink sparkling cider like it was champagne (don’t worry, we kept it classy… or at least hydrated). 🍾✨

Shoutout to our amazing team for making today feel like a blockbuster premiere—great energy, bigger hearts, and enough jokes to power the entire facility through February. To everyone who shared a New Year’s resolution (and to those who just said “I’ll try not to nap during resident activities”—you’re already winning): you inspire us.

Here’s to 2026: fewer wrinkles from stress, more smiles that spark joy, and a year so legendary even the coffee wants an autograph. If happiness had a mission statement, it would read: “From Five Points to forever, one fabulous moment at a time.” 🎉

Big shoutout to Vicki Cummings, Five Points’ own superhero in scrubs and grandma-energy. Five Points Employee of the Month. She’s the nurse who went VA to long-term with more heart than a romance novel and more stamina than a treadmill on sale.

She loves camping, hiking, and spoiling the grandkids, and somehow has every skate park in town memorized like a secret treasure map. Starbucks? Starby’s, obviously—and yes, she’s the reason the coffee cart has a built-in happy button.

Her residents and families light up when she walks in; she treats every day like a family visit, not a shift. She didn’t want to pose solo, so I hopped in—because some things are better with backup and a big grin.

Vicki, you’re the heartbeat of Five Points. Thank you for all the care, laughter, and warmth you bring. We’re lucky to have you.

Hey Five Points family,

If 2025 were a movie, it would be a rollercoaster with a killer soundtrack: equal parts high-energy dance breaks, spontaneous sing-alongs, and those little moments that quietly remind you what really matters. I’m talking about the kind of year where every late shift, every cheerful hello, and every shared story added up to something bigger than any one of us could achieve alone.

To our incredible community—our employees who bring passion and grit, our residents who teach us what grace looks like, and our families who stand by us with unwavering support—thank you. You’ve turned this place into a home where laughter echoes down the hallways, where resilience is a daily practice, and where a tough day gets softened by a chorus of “we’ve got your back.”

Here’s to the milestones, the mishaps, the late-night fixes, and the spontaneous dance-offs that kept spirits afloat. Bittersweet, yes, but sweeter because we did it together. Five Points isn’t just a facility; it’s a story built by you—a story of care, community, and yes, a lot of really good vibes.

From the bottom of our hearts: thank you for believing in us, for showing up, for smiling through it all, and for making Five Points what it is. We’re grateful for every resident, every family, every friend, and every colleague who made this year brighter.

Cheers to the memories we made and the ones we’ll create next year. If 2026 has even half as much heart as you all bring to this place, it’ll be legendary.

With gratitude and a little extra sparkle,
Five Points Nursing & Rehab

🎄✨ Surprise drop: Christmas jackets edition! ✨🎄

This week, we pulled off the ultimate “holiday plot twist” for the team—a Black Five Points jacket, straight from Santa’s design team (okay, maybe from our own gear closet, but close enough). Paired with a little something we whipped up in the video department: our crew unwrapping the warmth, one sleeve at a time, to the thunderous beat of “Back in Black.” Yes, we did that. Yes, it slaps.

Why jackets, you ask? Because nothing says “we survived another heat wave together” like a cool layer and a dash of Five Points charisma. Plus, it’s the season of giving—to ourselves, to the team, and to you, our amazing community.

Shoutout to the crew for bringing the energy, the style, and the consistent refusal to be boring. If you listen closely, you’ll hear the real Five Points spirit: teamwork, a little mischief, and a lot of heat—figurative and literal.

Watch the video, tell us which jacket moment made you smile, and drop your own holiday cheer in the comments. May your days be bright, your coffee be strong, and your jackets be Black.

Hey Five Points family and friends,

Today, we rolled out the red carpet for a true legend—Mrs. Parsons. After her time with us at our rehab program, she headed home with a glow brighter than a well-timed movie punchline.

Picture this: Kenna Howard, our Area Director, dressed as Santa Claus (yes, you read that right), with the ever-dazzling Maria Chacon as her elf, guiding Mrs. Parsons down the carpet like a celebrity on the way to the premiere of her life. The staff lined up, clapped, and somehow managed to keep it classy while delivering a chorus of “you’ve got this.”

Mrs. Parsons rang the bell, gave a warm thank-you to everyone, and reminded us all what grace, grit, and a good sense of humor sound like. It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do—care that feels like family, with a dash of holiday magic and a lot of heart.

If you’re reading this, send Mrs. Parsons some love in the comments. Her smile lit up the room, and ours, too. Here’s to new chapters, home-cooked meals, and the brilliant reminder that progress can be as sparkling as a bell-ringing encore.

With gratitude and a little bit of Christmas mischief,
Five Points Nursing & Rehabilitation

P.S. A huge shout-out to Kenna as Santa and Maria as the elf—we’ve officially never seen healthcare handled with more holiday spirit (or more bell ringing).

Hey Five Points fam, it’s your favorite rehab crew here. Our Director of Nursing, Cristian Murga, led six CNAs on a holiday-gift-bag mystery that only the bravest elevators of fashion could solve. Guess which item they didn’t wear to bed last night, reveal by reveal, and a whole lot of laughter along the way. Video below—because if you’re not smiling, you’re not feeling the holiday magic. Stay tuned, stay kind, and may your snacks be as legendary as our team spirit. 🎁🎄

Ho, ho, hold onto your gingerbread—Santa Claus himself rolled into Five Points Nursing & Rehab with enough gifts to stock a small North Pole gift shop. Our residents lit up brighter than Rudolph’s nose, and yes, Santa even took selfies with our amazing staff.

Special shout-out to Hillside Church for helping us bring the gifts—teamwork makes the sleigh wheels go ’round. If Santa can trade in a sleigh for a memory-making moment, you know it’s a good day.

P.S. We’re pretty sure Santa filed an internal memo: “Five Points is where the holiday magic happens.”

Hey everyone,

Last Friday, the Grinch paid Candy Cane Lane a visit and posed with our wonderful residents. It was oddly heartwarming to see that even a green, scruffy troublemaker can spark real kindness, laughter, and a little holiday mischief in all of us.

If you’ve got a favorite moment or photo from the visit, share it in the comments. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a season that’s bright enough to outshine any Grinchy grin.

With warm, slightly skeptical cheer,
Five Points Nursing & Rehab

Five Points Nursing & Rehab here. Thursday night we rolled out the red carpet for Family Night: hot chocolate flowing like a mini waterfall, desserts begging to be eaten, and a pianist, Crystal Chambers, turning our dining room into a feel-good movie soundtrack. We captured priceless moments of residents and families—proof that joy ages like fine chocolate.

If laughter is the best garnish, consider this plate overflowing. Huge shoutout to our amazing team for pairing tunes with treats and making memories that taste like peppermint and pure happiness. The photos are priceless—capturing smiles, stories, and a few serenades that mom and grandma will be bragging about for years.

Stay tuned for more heartwarming chaos, because at Five Points, we don’t do ordinary nights—we do encore-worthy ones.

Hey friends, Stevie our Activities Director here at Five Points Nursing & Rehab, turned up the holiday vibes with a little Spatula Bow Scoop—blindfolded edition. We lined the table with Christmas bows, blindfolded our fearless residents, and watched those bows dive into the bucket like tiny, festive comets. Laughter, a sprinkle of chaos, and zero elf-approved injuries.

Spoiler: the only thing sweeter than the bows was the joy in the room. Big thanks to the team for keeping things safe, supportive, and absolutely merry.

Stay tuned for more gourmet chaos and holiday hijinks—bow-blindfolded fun, 10/10 smiles.
