We are proud to share that our Executive Director, Meg Williams, presented a breakout session at the 2026 Texas Crime Stoppers Annual Conference.

Her session, “Building To***co-Free Communities: The Amarillo Model,” provided Crime Stoppers programs across the state with a practical, scalable guide for developing sustainable, community-driven to***co, v**e, and alcohol prevention initiatives.

Meg highlighted:
• Evidence-based prevention strategies
• Coalition-building and cross-sector partnerships
• Youth engagement and community accountability
• How local data can drive targeted, effective action

Prevention is strongest when it is collaborative, data-informed, and community-led. We are honored to share the Amarillo model and support other communities across Texas in building safer, healthier environments for youth.
