This Thursday, January 8th, Veterans that meet low income status can meet with legal aid lawyers at our Legal Aid Clinic in the KOLLMAR CONFERENCE ROOM in BUILDING 28, ROOM 2220.

Starts at 9 AM. Pre-registration is preferred by calling 806-355-9703 extension 7928.

All Civil (Non– Criminal) Legal Issues:
- Landlord / Tenant Issues
- Driver’s License Reinstatement
- Family Law (Divorce, Probate, Wills, etc.)
- Advance Directives for family members
- Financial/Medical Powers of Attorneys
- Federal Tax/ Public Debt Issues
- Organ/Tissue Donors
- Civil Suits

AVAHCS is hosting its Annual Patio of Honor Memorial Bricklaying Ceremony on May 21, 2026. If you would like to purchase a brick in memory of your Veteran loved one to place in our Patio of Honor, please email our CDCE Service at AmarilloVoluntaryService@va.gov or call 806-354-7811. The cost of each brick is $60 and the deadline to purchase a brick is March 20!

Our beloved horse, Freedom, is headed to the farrier—at least in spirit! 🎨 Just like a real horse getting re-shod, Freedom is getting a fresh coat of paint to look strong, proud and ready to stand tall for years to come.

Thank you for your patience while Freedom gets polished up—same noble stance, newly shined “horseshoes.” 🐴💫
