Let's talk about one of the big misconceptions related to weight loss surgery.

Here it is:

Bariatric surgery is extremely risky.

❌ This is NOT true.

Like all surgeries bariatric surgery does have risks.

But advancements in medical procedures have reduced these risks significantly.

And here at Panhandle Weight Loss Center we can proudly say that our complication rates continue to be the lowest in the country. We're talking 0.56% - and that's far below the national average of 4%!

"3 years ago on 10/11/22 I had the duodenal switch. The first pic is probably about my heaviest 304 lbs. I was 286 at surgery. I have lost 130 and have been able to maintain my weight at 156 +|- 3 lbs for 2 years now.
