We are excited to announce the arrival of our 2nd DRX-9000 treatment machine! 80% of Americans will experience back pain which limits their daily activities -- missing work, vacations, or family functions. Dr. Jeremy Raef with Precision Chiropractic joined our local city government to proclaim October 2025 as National Chiropractic Health Month. Dr. Raef is the District 2 State Director with the Texas Chiropractic Association. With the theme “Get Started with Chiropractic,” National Chiropractic Health Month reminds citizens that chiropractors can help them maintain and improve their musculoskeletal health throughout their lifetime and may also help them to reduce their need for prescription pain medications for common musculoskeletal conditions. Doctors of chiropractic are experts in musculoskeletal health and offer a variety of non-drug approaches to treat musculoskeletal conditions such as back pain, neck pain, joint pain and tension headaches, along with advice on nutrition, injury prevention, ergonomics, and lifestyle modifications for optimal health and wellness.
The state of Texas and Amarillo officially join with the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) and Texas Chiropractic Association (TCA) in proclaiming the month of October 2025 as National Chiropractic Health Month.

🥳Happy 130th Birthday Chiropractic🥳September the 18th marks the 130th anniversary of the first chiropractic adjustment. It was performed by DD Palmer in 1885 on Harvey Lillard.
Lillard, and janitor, had been deaf for over 17 years. While stooping over, he felt a pop in his back. Palmer located a misaligned vertebrae in his upper back. Lillard reported improvement not only in his back, but his hearing improved as well.
2 years later in 1887, Palmer founded the Palmer School of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. His son, BJ Palmer, took over and became the developer of Chiropractic care.
Fun Fact: Our very own, Dr. Whitehead, graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport in 1995! 100 years after the first adjustment!
