Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a respiratory infection. Almost all children will have their first case of RSV by the time they turn two years old. HOWEVER, it can be risky, especially in the first six months of life because their airways are so small. The good news is that your infant can get immediate protection with an RSV monoclonal antibody! The immunization lasts five months or more and is recommended for ALL unprotected infants younger than 8 months old. APC has State and Private immunization available, call today to schedule your baby's RSV protection!
