No one should have to navigate pregnancy and HIV alone. PASO is here to provide guidance, encouragement, and compassionate support, because every family deserves care, dignity, and hope.

As we ring in the New Year, itâs a great time to make choices that protect your health and your future.
Celebrations often involve alcohol, parties, and new connections, which can sometimes lead to higher-risk situations.
You cannot tell if someone has HIV or other Sexually Transmitted Infections by how they look. Planning ahead, setting boundaries, and using protection can help reduce the risk of HIV and other STIs.
Enjoy the night, look out for yourself and others, and remember that healthy choices donât mean missing outâthey mean starting the New Year strong.

PASOâs Childrenâs Christmas is in full swing, and our hearts are full. đĽ°
This special program is for our current clients who have been with PASO for at least a year and have children under the age of 18 - a PASO holiday tradition for more than 20 years! đđ
Santa Nan, Head Elf Jacque, and Assistant Elf Maribel have been hard at work making calls to parents, gathering wish lists, and spreading a little holiday cheer. Board members and volunteers stepped in to shop for gifts using donations raised through our fundraisers, and then Nan and Jacque wrapped it all up by packing each childâs gifts into large bags labeled with their name and âFrom Santa.â
Itâs a true team effort and a beautiful reminder of what this season is all aboutâcommunity, generosity, and making sure every child feels seen and celebrated during the holidays. đđ

U=U is a scientific fact. đŹâ¨
When someone living with HIV maintains an undetectable viral load through treatment, they cannot transmit HIV through s*x. đŤ

The Panhandle AIDS Support Organization, Inc. (PASO) is a not-for-profit support agency. PASO opened its doors in August of 1987 offering education to the general public and emotional support to those persons infected with HIV disease in the 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle.
Today PASO is a full service community based organization with a case management system which provides referrals to doctors, dentists and optometrists, therapeutic counseling, transportation, housing assistance, and support groups.
PASO became a Local Performance Site of the South Central AIDS Education Training Center in 2008. Our agency is committed to improving the quality of life of patients living with HIV/AIDS through the provision of high quality professional education and training.
Opportunities include in-house AIDS education programs, and a larger Annual HIV /AIDS Symposium through collaboration with the Amarillo College Center for Continuing Healthcare Education.
PASO also offers educational programs tailored to the needs of civic groups, churches, hospitals, businesses and the general public.
Funding for PASO comes from state and federal grant funds, private foundations and local contributions.
