Residents at The Legacy at Town Square are getting into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit! 🍀

This week, residents had a wonderful time crafting their own leprechaun traps to use as festive St. Patrick’s Day decorations. From colorful designs to a little bit of Irish creativity, each trap was full of personality and plenty of fun. Activities like these encourage creativity, laughter, and great conversation as residents work together and share in the holiday excitement.

Who knows… we might just catch a leprechaun before March 17th! 🌈✨

Amber brings 20 years of healthcare experience and a true passion for caring for others. Serving people has always been close to her heart, and we are blessed to have her leading our Memory Care program with compassion, dedication, and love.
Amber is a proud mom of 5 children, 3 bonus children, 3 grandchildren, and 4 bonus grandchildren — family is everything to her! When she’s not at work, you can find her spending time with family, attending church at Arena of Life Church, cheering at sporting events, and enjoying all the special moments in between.
Her caring spirit, strong faith, and commitment to serving others make her a perfect fit for our residents and families. 💕

This Valentine’s Day, we celebrated the beautiful love stories that continue to inspire us every day. ❤️ Our Couples Valentine’s Dinner was filled with candlelight, laughter, sweet music, and decades of cherished memories.
Residents and their sweethearts enjoyed a delicious chef-prepared meal, delightful desserts, and special moments together in a romantic setting designed just for them. From holding hands to sharing stories of how they first met, the room was glowing with love.
At The Legacy at Town Square we believe love has no age — and it’s an honor to celebrate these incredible couples who remind us that true love only grows stronger with time. 💖

We extend our sincere thanks to the Amarillo Tribune for beautifully capturing and sharing the heartfelt moments from our recent Valentine’s event.

Residents graciously shared treasured wedding photos, meaningful memories, and the love stories that have shaped their lives. It was a touching celebration of enduring love, friendship, and community.

We are grateful to the Amarillo Tribune for highlighting the spirit of connection that makes our community so special. 💕

On Thursday, Feb. 12, the sports lounge on the second floor of The Legacy at Town Square was decorated for Valentine’s Day. Red and pink roses sat on the mantle, a mix of love songs played on the TV, and the tablecloths, plates, and cutlery were decorated with pink and red hearts. Over 20 residents and their loved ones sat with their wedding photos, enjoying Valentine’s Day-themed sweets and beverages.

At the front of the room stood two married couples, Elsie and Bob, and Lynda and Jim. In front of a makeshift podium, the couples held hands as Reverend Ashley Winger of Genteva Health Services, a partner service at the assisted living and memory care facility, led them through a recommitment ceremony.

“I promise to love each other today, tomorrow and forever,” Bob and Jim told their wives

LATS residents recently enjoyed a vibrant and educational celebration in honor of Lunar New Year! The afternoon was filled with creativity, culture, and connection as residents learned about the rich traditions and meaning behind this special holiday.

A heartfelt thank you to Linda from Our Lady of Vietnam Catholic Church for sharing her knowledge and personal insights, helping us better understand the history and customs surrounding Lunar New Year. Residents had the opportunity to create beautiful “stained glass” lotus flowers, symbolizing renewal and hope, and also sampled traditional Lunar New Year treats that added a delicious touch to the experience.

We are grateful for opportunities like these that allow us to explore different cultures, learn together, and celebrate the diversity that makes our community so special.

🌹Residents at The Legacy at Town Square experienced a heartfelt and meaningful Valentine’s celebration this week as we honored the beauty of enduring love and cherished memories.

During this special event, residents who have lost a spouse shared treasured wedding photographs and spoke about the love stories that shaped their lives. It was a touching time of reflection, connection, and remembrance as friends gathered to listen, support, and celebrate the lasting impact of true love.

We were also honored to welcome Chaplain Ashley from Gentiva Hospice , who offered a special blessing for the couples in our community who continue to walk life’s journey together. Her words brought comfort, encouragement, and a beautiful reminder of the power of love at every stage of life.

We are grateful to the Amarillo Tribune for joining us to capture photos and interviews from this meaningful day. We look forward to sharing more when the feature is published.
