"We don’t have a cemetery plot. What do we do?"
Families ask us this often, and if you haven’t chosen a plot yet, you’re not alone. When the time comes, we’ll help you start the process and point you in the right direction. You’ll be able to look at what’s available, ask questions, and make a choice that feels right for your family. What matters most is that you don’t have to figure it out on your own. 💙

We've served families in Ambler for many years, and we've learned that funerals look different for every household because each family brings their own stories, traditions, and ways of honoring someone they love. You choose who speaks, what music feels right, and how long people gather, and we'll help you shape something that reflects your family and the person you're remembering.

Have you ever noticed how much it means when you show up for someone else's loss?

When you attend the funeral or share your condolences, you're showing them that their loved one's life touched far more hearts than just their family.

Funerals matter because they bring our community together around shared love and loss. It's our privilege to help you create meaningful moments where folks can gather to honor the beautiful impact one life can have.

We often serve families who are unsure if the person who died would want a funeral or any kind of gathering, especially when they never felt tied to a church or used to shrug and say, "Skip the fuss." We understand that.

We also see how even a small gathering or ritual can open the door to connection in ways that surprise people. Those simple moments often stand out later because they felt honest, personal, and exactly right for the family. If you'd like to talk through options, our team is ready to listen and guide you.

Your menorah carries the story of your family, your community, and the traditions that keep us connected. Each night of Hanukkah adds a little more light to the room, which has a way of gathering people in close, even when someone you love is no longer there to share it.

As you mark the eight nights, we hope you find moments that bring you peace. May your menorah shine bright and your Hanukkah be filled with warmth and connection.

Have you considered how you'll want to be remembered on anniversaries and birthdays?

Maybe you'd love for your family to make your famous chocolate cake every year on your birthday, even if it never turns out quite like yours did. Or perhaps you'd want them to visit that little diner where you always ordered the same breakfast, sharing stories about all the funny things you used to say.

These special days will come every year, and your family will want to honor you in ways that feel meaningful. When you share what brings you joy on these occasions, you help them create celebrations that keep your spirit alive.

What traditions do you hope they'll continue? And what new ones would you want them to start?

"How deep is a grave?"

People ask us this more often than you’d think, and it’s natural to be curious. Graves are dug to hold both the vault and the casket, with the vault usually resting about six feet deep, though the exact depth depends on the size and the cemetery’s rules. The vault keeps the ground from settling and protects the casket, and most cemeteries require one for that reason. If you want to know how things are done at our local cemeteries, we’re glad to walk you through it.
