For nearly 115 years, Phoebe has been more than a place to receive care. It’s been a foundation for stronger families, healthier communities and brighter futures across southwest Georgia. We’re proud of the impact we’ve had, but even more excited about what’s next. Because we’re not finished. We’re still building. Building on care. Building on trust. Building on better. Watch this video to see some of our impact and go to https://phoebehalth.com/better to learn more.

In honor of Sumter Pink, breast cancer survivors, Phoebe Sumter CEO Carlyle Walton, Foundation board members Leon Holloway and Sherrill House, and passionate supporters took their message of hope all the way to Iceland! The group posed proudly in front of the stunning Basalt Columns at Reynisfjara Beach, a dramatic black volcanic beach near Vík í Mýrdal in southern Iceland. Their journey is a powerful reminder that courage and community know no borders.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN: Halloween is a time for fun, but safety should always come first. Before heading out for trick-or-treating, keep these tips in mind:
- Costume Safety: Choose flame-resistant materials, ensure costumes fit properly, and add reflective tape or glow sticks for visibility.
- Safe Routes: Stick to familiar neighborhoods, walk in groups, and cross streets at intersections. Young children should be accompanied by an adult.
- Check Treats: Inspect all candy before eating. Discard anything unwrapped or suspicious and watch for allergens.
- Safe Hosting: Keep walkways clear, use battery-powered lights in decorations, and keep pets indoors.
- Use Technology: GPS tracking and neighborhood apps can help parents monitor safety.
- Plan ahead, stay visible, and make this Halloween fun and safe for everyone.
