Happy 14th Birthday to us!!! We celebrated with an awesome, sweaty, challenging flow lead by Matt.

We are so grateful for our community of faithful yogis of all shapes, sizes, ages, genders, and abilities. It is you who make us such a special place to practice yoga, Pilates, sculpt and barre!

Special shoutout to our amazing team of teachers. We are blessed with the best!

We also raised $270 for the 🙌🏻🤩🙏🏼. Thank you to those that donated. And congrats to Kacie P who won the hot yoga towel in our drawing.

FREE CLASS
SOUNDBATH + GUIDED MEDITATION

We are thrilled to announce a FREE group Sound Bath class with Guided Meditation at Ignite on:

THURSDAY 10/2 8pm

Group Sound Bath With Guided Meditation:

This event lasts up to 35 minutes I will begin with 1-2 minutes of the deeper singing bowls to ground following a guided meditation that should help you understand your personal frequency and learn how to expand your auric field and expand your consciousness once the meditation is complete I will play my singing bowls, I will have a moment of silence to give the receiver time to reflect or process their experience once the moment is over I will play a song which is different every soundbath. Eventually I will incorporate my handpan drum and crystal harp. Once the song is over the soundbath is complete anyone is welcome to stay and reflect as long as needed.

Meet Katie:

Katie Walker is a life long Ames native and graduated in 2006. After high school Katie attended Body Wisdom Massage School in Des Moines and graduated in 2014. Katie is passionate about animals and has been training Muay Thai and Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu for three years now. Katie started hosting Group Sound Baths With Guided Meditations on June 2nd, 2025 and has loved offering sound healing for her community.

Welcome New Teacher, Campbelle! 💕

Hi! My name is Campbelle, I am a senior at Iowa State on the pre-dental track. I love Pilates because it relieves my stress…which is much needed during the school year! I have found so much love for it these past few years and it has impacted my life so much that I decided that I wanted to share it with others!

WE’RE HIRING BARRE INSTRUCTORS

Ignite Yoga is currently looking for Barre Teachers to join our team. Qualified candidates will have Barre teaching experience and also have completed a Barre training program. Weekend availability is preferred.

We offer free classes, competitive pay, discounts on all retail we sell, and a great team and community.
